Articles on: Visits pre-registration

Set Up the Calendar Import Address

Get your site's unique invitation email address to automatically create pre-registrations from Outlook, Google Calendar or Teams. Your staff keep their habits — Anghello takes care of the rest.

Audience: Administrators, Managers
Application: Admin (app.anghello.co)
Estimated time: 5 minutes

Before you start

  • Preregistration must be enabled on the site.
  • You must be an Administrator or Manager to retrieve the invitation address.

Steps

1. Get the site's invitation address

Go to Settings > Sites > Your site > Settings & Features > Preregistration. At the bottom of the page, find the Site pre-registration email field and click the copy icon.

The address looks like my-site-xyz@invit.anghello.co. It is unique to each site.

2. Share the address with your hosts

Share this address with the people who pre-register visits (hosts, managers, HR team, front desk…). They can add it as a recipient of their Outlook, Google Calendar or Teams events.

3. Test that everything works

See How do I check that my setup works? for a 2-minute test.

The limits to know

Limit

Value

Why?

Visitors per invitation

10 maximum

To avoid accidentally importing mailing lists or internal team meetings.

Time window

Between today and 1 year in the future

To avoid mistakenly importing recurring events with an unlimited horizon.

Authorized sender

The event organizer must be an Anghello user of the site

Security: this prevents a third party from creating visits on your behalf.

Good to know

💡 Tip: The invitation address is unique and unguessable for each site. You can safely share it with your team — it can only be used by Anghello users of the site.

💡 Tip: Would you like a more readable address (for example my-company@invit.anghello.com)? Write to us — we can customize it.
