Configure pre-registration
Preregistration lets you plan visits in advance and send an invitation to the visitor before they arrive. The visitor receives an email with all the practical information and can check in faster on arrival. This guide shows you how to enable and configure this feature.
Audience: Administrators, Managers
Application: Admin (app.anghello.co)
Estimated time: 10 minutes
Before you start
- You need an Administrator or Manager account on Anghello
- The "Preregistration" add-on module must be included in your subscription

Click the Preregistration card in the overview, or click the corresponding tab.

Configure the options

|---|---|
The visitor can check in X minutes before their appointment. If the visitor arrives earlier, they won't find their pre-registration.
Choose when to send the invitation email: Always or Never
If the invitation is automatic, how many days before the appointment the email is sent (1 to 30 days)
Pre-filled text in the invitation (translatable). Useful for practical information (parking, access, etc.)
Send an email to the host to confirm the visit: Always, If new, or Never

💡 Tip: Click
Preview emailsto see what the invitation email sent to your visitors will look like.
The forwarding email address
A unique forwarding email address is generated for each site. You can forward your calendar invitations (Outlook, Google Calendar…) to this address to automatically create a pre-registration.
The address is displayed at the bottom of the configuration page. Click the copy icon to copy it.

How it works for the visitor
- The visitor receives an invitation email with the date, time, location and practical information
- On the day of their visit, they scan the QR code on site
- The check-in kiosk asks whether they have a pre-registration
- They search for their name and select their planned visit
- Their form is pre-filled with the pre-registration information (name, company, host, visitor type)
- They complete the remaining steps (additional fields, instructions) and their check-in is finalized
💡 Tip: The visitor can also arrive via a direct link in the invitation email, which redirects them to the check-in kiosk with their visit pre-selected.
Good to know
💡 Tip: Pre-registered visits are managed from the
Preregistrationmenu in the main menu. You'll find two tabs there:Planned visits(the list of planned visits) andPre-registered Contacts(the visitor contact book).
