Virtual badge don't appear

The virtual badge doesn't show on the visitor's phone after check-in? This guide helps you diagnose the problem.

Audience: Administrators, Managers
Application: Admin (app.anghello.co)
Estimated time: 3 minutes

Check step by step

1. Is the virtual badge enabled?

Go to Settings > Sites > Settings & Features > Virtual Badge.

Check that the feature is enabled.

2. Did the visitor close the page?

The virtual badge remains accessible as long as the visitor keeps the page open in their browser. If they closed the tab or the browser, the badge is no longer accessible.

Solution: The visitor can rescan the QR code. If their visit is still ongoing, they will automatically be redirected to their badge.

3. Was the visitor marked as out?

If an administrator or receptionist has already marked the visitor as out, the badge shows a message saying the visit has ended.

4. Is the visitor's browser blocking JavaScript?

The badge requires JavaScript and cookies. If the visitor's browser blocks them:

Solution: Ask the visitor to allow JavaScript and cookies in their browser settings.
