Understanding the real-time dashboard

The Visitors page is your real-time dashboard. It shows all of the day's arrivals and departures and updates automatically. This guide shows you how to use it day to day.

Audience: Administrators, Managers, Receptionists
Application: Admin (app.anghello.co)
Estimated time: 5-minute read

Opening the dashboard

In the left-hand menu, click Dashboard. The visitor list appears, sorted in reverse chronological order (the most recent arrivals at the top).

What you see

Each row in the list shows:

Column

Description

Name

The visitor's first and last name, with their avatar

Visitor type

The type the visitor selected (if visitor types are enabled)

Host

The name of the employee the visitor is here to meet, or the site name

Arrival

The check-in time

Departure

The check-out time, or a "Mark as checked out" button if the visitor is still on site

Real-time updates

The list updates automatically:

  • New arrivals appear at the top of the list as soon as a visitor checks in on the kiosk
  • An automatic refresh happens every 90 seconds
  • Data is kept current in real time through a live connection to the server

💡 Tip: You don't need to refresh the page manually — the data comes in on its own.

Searching for a visitor

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find a visitor by first name, last name, or company. The search filters the list in real time.

Filtering by site

If you manage several sites, use the site selector at the top of the side menu to show only one site's visitors, or all sites at once.

Marking a visitor as checked out

If a visitor didn't check out themselves:

1. Find the visitor in the list.

2. Click the Mark as checked out button in the Departure column.

The check-out time appears and the visit is closed.

Viewing a visitor's details

Click any row in the list to open the detail panel on the right of the screen (see the article "Understanding the detailed visitor record").

Good to know

💡 Tip: The pagination at the bottom of the page lets you choose how many rows are shown: 10, 20, or 50 visitors per page.

💡 Tip: For real-time monitoring on a large screen at reception, the Supervisor interface (spv.anghello.co) is purpose-built for this.

Troubleshooting

I don't see a site's visitors
