Managing user access to sites

Each site can be managed by different users depending on their roles. This guide shows you how to control who has access to which site.

Audience: Administrators
Application: Admin (app.anghello.co)
Estimated time: 3 minutes

Before you start

  • You need an Administrator account on Anghello

Who has access to a site?

By default, administrators have access to every site. Managers and receptionists only have access to the sites assigned to them.

Assigning a user to a site

1. Open the Users page

In the left-hand menu, go to Configuration > Users.

2. Change the user's role

Open the user's actions menu, then click Change role.

3. Select the site and the role

In the role list, options are grouped by site. Select the role you want for each site:

  • Site Manager — grants full management access to the site
  • Site Receptionist — grants operational access to the site

Removing access to a site

To remove a user's access to a site, change their role and deselect the site concerned.

Good to know

💡 Tip: Administrators automatically see every site. There's no need to assign them site by site.

💡 Tip: A user with no site assigned will see an empty screen after signing in. Make sure every manager and receptionist has at least one site assigned.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Solution

A manager doesn't see a site

Check that they're assigned as Manager of that site in Configuration > Users.

A receptionist sees too much data

Check that they don't have the Administrator role.
