Add your first site

A site represents a physical location where you welcome visitors (head office, regional office, factory…). This guide shows you how to create your first site and make it operational.

Before you begin


  • You must have an Administrator account on Anghello
  • Your organization must be configured (see the article "Create and configure your organization")


From the getting started guide


If this is your first login, the getting started guide on the right of your screen offers the step "Configure your site". Click Start — you will be redirected directly to your site's form.

From the sites list


You can also add a site at any time:


1. Go to the sites list


In the left menu, open the Settings section then click Sites.



2. Click Add a site


Click the Add a site button at the top of the page.



⚠️ Important: If this button does not appear, check that you are logged in as an Administrator. Managers and receptionists cannot create sites.


Fill in the site information


3. Give your site a name


Enter a clear and identifiable name in the Name field. This is the name your visitors will see on the welcome kiosk.


  • Minimum 2 characters, maximum 120 characters
  • Choose a short and descriptive name (for example "Paris Head Office" or "Lyon Office")



4. Add a contact email (optional)


Enter the site's email address in the Email field. This email can be used for notifications related to this specific site.


5. Enter the site address (optional)


Click the Address field and start typing. Suggestions appear automatically — select the corresponding address from the list.



6. Save


Click Save. A confirmation message appears: "Site created!" and you are redirected to your sites list.


Your site is created!


What's next?


Your site is ready, but a few more steps are needed to welcome your first visitors:


  1. Configure the welcome flow — Customize instructions, required fields and notifications
  2. Download the QR code — Print the poster to allow visitors to register themselves
  3. Add your host employees — So they receive arrival notifications


💡 Tip: If you are following the getting started guide, the next step automatically prompts you to download your QR code poster.


Good to know


💡 Tip: When you have multiple sites, a site selector appears at the top of the side menu. It lets you filter visitors and data by site, or display all sites in a single view.


💡 Tip: You can edit a site's information at any time from Settings > Sites, then by clicking Edit on the relevant site card.


⚠️ Important: The number of sites you can create depends on your subscription. If you reach the limit, a message invites you to review your subscription.


Troubleshooting


Problem

Solution

The "Add a site" button does not appear

Only Administrators can create sites. Check your role in Settings > Users.

A message indicates the limit has been reached

Your subscription does not allow creating more sites. Go to Settings > Organization > Subscription to see your limits or request a plan change.

The Save button remains grayed out

Check that the site name is filled in (minimum 2 characters).

The created site does not appear in the selector

Refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R on PC, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
